sunset picures

Me and Jenn have been taking pictures of the sunset, I have had my camera for nearly 6 moths now, Jenn has had hers for about 15 days and she can work hers better than I can mine.

I can never really seem to capture all the colours of a sunset but Jenn seems to have mastered the art of it. so here are my attempts at sunset pictures.

This one I do like but the sky looked more red than this.



I love the colour in this one.

And this one is actually at night, I took this picture just as lightning struck and that's why the glow is there. I always wanted to catch lightning and this is the closest I have ever got. so well done me.

Cooking and baking

Today was a great day for me and Jenn, Today we cooked and baked.
I cooked Bangers and mash and Jennifer backed chocolate chip cookies.


As always I took lots of pictures for you all to see.

first I cooked Bangers and mash for Jennifer, I know that a lot of people are wondering just what I am talking about when I say bangers and mash, it's just sausage and mash potatoes. but this was a very special meal for a very good reason. it was my very first attempt at mash potatoes.



First I cut the potatoes and boil them till they are nice and soft.


around the same time as I put the potatoes to boil I start on the sausage.


Next I mash the potatoes with some milk and some butter.

put the potatoes on a plat and put the sausage in the potato

Add some gravy and hey presto.... you have Bangers and Mash.

Next Jennifer made her chocolate chip cookies, Don't ask me how she did them, I don't have a clue but they are sooooooooooo good.



I know that she used eggs.


And added them to this mix.

When the mix was ready we put scoop size mixes on a baking tray.

They already look good enough to eat, I did maybe have just a little of the mix, I just couldn't help it.

Kind of creepy.

Me and Jenn decided that we were feeling in a spooky mood and so we looked around the area and we came across a cemetery, We had a walk through and took some pictures, and even though we didn't catch any ghosts we did get some pretty cool pictures.

So no ghost sightings but never mind, perhaps you have to go at night.

I made it all the way.

The title refers to my Jogging , as you may have or may not have seen in one of my previous posts, I wrote about how I had attempted to jog here in Georgia, The temperature was my main struggle, I had no cool spots to run in and the shade was hotter than in England on a hot day, and I only made half of my jog.

Well today I attempted again with great success, I think it was about two mile or just a little under, the heat was making it a bit more of a struggle but this time I wasn't giving up. I made it all the way from start to finish even over lapping a little just to be sure. I know that most people here probably don't see it as to bigger thing but to come from a country that is very cold compared to the USA I think I did very well, I will now try again when Jenn has her class tomorrow, now that I know I can do it that means there is no reason that I can't go the same distance tomorrow or maybe that little bit further.

What me and my Jenn did today.

Me and Jenn never really plan a day, we just go wit the flow. I think it's nice that the day just happens rather than been scheduled, so here is what me and my Jenn did today.

We decided that we would have a late lunch at the Kani house,
Me and my Jenn love this place and the food is soooo good.
They even have the chef cook the food right in front of you .

They start you off with a soup and salad while you wait for the chef.


The salad is fresh and tastes great.


The Kani Rangoon, is awesome and it looks so cool, I almost didn't want to spoil the pattern by eating it but hey... I was hungry

These are the two dips they give you for the main course, I like the dip to the left best, meat tastes great when you dip it in either of these.

The chef comes around to the table and stands at the hot plate and does some amazing stuff with the spatula and knife. it's almost like been at the circus.

I never drop eggs but I wouldn't try that.

He also makes a real big flame that you can feel the heat from.

Wow!!!

Here is my plate, I have eaten quite a bit her but it is so yummi I can't help but eat it.



After the Kani house me and Jenn went and saw my first 3d experience at the movie theater, I have seen 3d before but never at the movies, we saw toy story 3 and it was really cool. I highly recommend it for anyone.

We saw Eclipse

I'm not referring to a solar eclipse I'm talking about the twilight movie saga.
First we went to the Waffle house and I had some bacon and eggs with toast, yummi.
We then wondered round for about a hour and then..we went and saw the Twilight Eclipse movie.
Now when it comes to these movies, I guess you could say that I kinda liked the first one, it had promise to be a good story, the characters were interesting and the story was ok, I would have given the first twilight a generous 5 out of ten.

as for New moon, I can honestly say that I have been working with movies at blockbuster for nearly ten years, I see at least 8 new movies a week. New moon has to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen, from begging to end nothing happens, the actors are cardboard, Edward the star from the first movie is in it for about 12 minutes in total...yeah 12 minutes out of 2 and a half hours of nothing, the wolfs are seen in for about 1 minute and 40 seconds in total and the rest of the movie is just nothing but bella and her feeling depressed and sorry for her self.
New moon I gave a 2 out of ten.


but the Eclipse movie had a hint of promise to it, there was a better story and even some action.
but again it did drag on in a lot of places and there were parts that I felt just didn't add to the story. but you do get to see a lot more of the werewolves and even some fighting scenes.
I would give this one a 5 out of ten.
so apart from the movie me and Jenn did some baking today, and we were able to spend the entire day together as Jenn didn't have any classes.
there has also been some thunderstorms today, I do love them though, I think there is something magical about seeing them .

We really had a great day, and here are some pictures of our days previous to this one.

The heat is hot

This is now my 5th day here with my Jenn and things couldn't be better. We are both very happy and enjoying our time together as much as possible. The main thing that is tough to get used to is the heat here, even in the shade it's as warm as the hottest day I ever remember in England.

I am slowly getting used to it but I feel it will take a few more days yet, I have sun burn on my neck and arms and my face and I don't think that ever really happened in England. Jennifer copes with the heat so very well

The other day, I attempted to Jog, I think I made a mile and a half before I had to stop, I was thinking to my self I could do it with not to many problems, I picked the route that had the most hills mainly up hill. I started my Jog and everything was fine, as I carried on up the hill, I saw the first chance of shade from the sun, a group of trees.

I ran under the trees but the shade was not cool for me, it was as hot as England's hottest day.

This ment trouble for me , I carried on jogging and soon after began to feel not so good, there was no air to breath. after the mile and a half I had to stop.

I was right next to a store and I had promised Jenn I would get some water, I got a small bottle of water and walked the rest of the way. I think I will try and jog again on Monday, surely I will be ready by then.

We are under attack!!!

Me and Jenn both love sun sets and we also love to take pictures of sunsets, so we both rush to the top of a hill near my motel and take some pictures of the sun set every chance we get.

Today was no different we got to where we take our pictures and we waited, but this time we sat a Little closer to some bushes than we usually would, every thing seemed ok, Jenn was on the phone to hr mom and I was getting ready to take my first picture, I felt something touch my arm, I wasn't sure what it was so I just kept on with my picture taking

Next thing I know I feel the same thing but on two different parts of my arm, I look to see two mosquitoes getting ready for lunch, I didn't give them chance to byte me, I flicked them off before they could do any damage.

Jennifer had just finished on the phone and she had at least three of four of them sucking on her leg, She quickly swatted them away once she realised , but we wasn't sure just how long they had been there on her leg. Next thing Jenn says that here legs are itching like crazy, she goes and gets in the car and is now scratching her legs like a mad woman.

The itching quickly turns in to a burning sensation and she is in a great deal of pain, she is trying not to itch them now but I could see the bumps coming up on her legs , there was seven or eight byte marks on her legs and they were red and looked painful, we rushed to the chemist and got some kind off spray, at first it didn't seem to be helping matters but after about ten minutes Jenn started to feel better, I have never been attacked by a mosquito before but I plan not to any time soon.

We are together

After nearly 40 hours of traveling, well 14 hours sat at the airport and a 9 hour flight and not to mention the one and a half hour train ride me and my Beautiful Jenn are at last together again.

I have waited so long to be with her and it is at this point in my life that I am the happiest I can be,
and while it as taken long months of hard work and a long journey it has been well worth it.

The train ride was smooth just like you would expect and the plane ride was very good until the last ten minutes of the flight, I was sat right at the back of the plane again and I think that it is far worse to be sat there that any other part of the plane, I could feel every little bump.

As the plane was coming in to land it felt like a roller coaster, the guy next to me grabbed my leg and I could feel my stomach turning. every time the plane moved. we landed at the airport and I got through customs and I was then straight to the baggage claim.

I saw Jenn straight away , she was waiting with Morgan and she had made a sign Saying Welcome Wayne with love hearts drawn on. I ran up and hugged her straight away, I didn't want to let go, I had missed her so very much, and every thing felt better now that I was with her again.


We got my bag from the baggage area after waiting nearly twenty minutes at the wrong area, and we headed for the door. now I thought it was fairly warm in England , and I was saying about how it was the warmest part if the year there, Morgan said "Wait till you get out side" I honestly thought to my self that it couldn't be so bad and then I stepped out and it was like I had stepped in to a oven, I could feel my ears burning and my neck getting hot, and this was only in a few seconds.

we went to the Blake's house and we sat and had a talk for a while, and then me and my Jenn headed back to her collage, an at the moment I am in my motel room typing this. every thing is so perfect and I am so very happy.
