Dreams

I always have a dream when I am getting ready to go see my Jenn, some times a few weeks or a few month, I think that my mind is usually racing about things that I need to get done, for example book my train ticket or get a new bag or get my travel insurance.

the other day I was looking at train times trying to figure out which train to catch to get me to the airport in time for my flight or a few hours before, I must have spent nearly a hour trying to figure it out.

eventually I figured it all out and went to bed, and that night I had a dream.

The Dream.

My dream began where I was getting ready to leave to go be with my Jenn, but the clock said 10:20 pm and my train was due to leave in ten minutes and I hadn't even got dressed. I looked at the clock again and it said 11:30 pm and I hadn't even left the house or packed.
next thing I know I am outside the train station racing to the platform and even though I missed my train there is another one but not for a few hours.

I woke up and the first thing I wanted to do is check the train times again,
I know it' only a dream and in a way I am glad I have them because they keep me on my toes.

I love this quote

Let me ask you something. If someone prays for patience, you think God gives them patience? Or does he give them the opportunity to be patient? If he prayed for courage, does God give him courage, or does he give him opportunities to be courageous? If someone prayed for the family to be closer, do you think God zaps them with warm fuzzy feelings, or does he give them opportunities to love each other?

Just for fun

As you who read my Blogs are aware, I go and see my Jenn as often as possible, I wait at the airport to get on the plane
I always get a little nervous when I walk down the long corridor that leads to the door of the plane.

I walk on the the plane and find my seat, which always seems to be at the back row 39 .

I do love the feel of flying on a aircraft, but at the very back you feel every bump .
I have only sat in the mid section once before , but it scared me more than ever when I looked out of the window and saw this.

these little things hanging on to the wing, I think they were going on Holiday to, but they got 10th class seats. Oh well, they look happy enough to me.

I have a new phone

I finally have a new phone, After many years of service my old Nokia 6120 classic has done it's tour of duty and I am now retiring it. I do love my old phone but the cracks of old age are starting to tell.

The battery is starting to swell and has broken the back casing open and the screen has a ever growing crack and it has started to cut me off when I am making or receiving a call. So I am sending it to the phone retirement draw in my room where it shall have it's place of honor.

Good bye old phone.

And now I have my shiny new Nokia E63 smart phone and so far I love it.
I have only put my contacts in to the phone book and set up my email but there is so much I can do with it. I am sure I am going to have Lot's of fun learning how to work it.

it has a full keyboard which I must admit is a bit strange, I am so use to the usual 9 button ABC stuff but I am sure in time I will get the hang of it.
I would definitely recommend this phone it is so cool.

North vs South Korea ain't half as bad as this.

For about two months now we have had my niece Natalie living at the house with me and my mother, Natalie is such a great person and me and her share a lot of the same sense of humour.
We both love Simpson's and Family guy and we can always talk about almost anything, she really is a great person and would do anything for anyone.

My Mother is one of the best people in the world and again we can talk about almost anything and although she may be set in some of her ways she is a truly great woman and we get along about as well as any mother and son can.

Now you think that these two would get along great and about 60 % of the time they do, however there is another side, a dark side the other 40% and this is the point where they argue about anything and everything that you could possibly think of, Any person who gets in the way should duck for cover, cigarettes are lit faster that a UN resolution can be written and even the cats cower behind the sofa.

Me and Natalie's boyfriend even look at each other with a sense of fear and dare not say anything or try to intervene through fear of retaliation attacks from both forces. We just sit and stay quiet with a look of understanding between us that for our sakes we must remain quiet and let the battle take its own course.

I have heard them at it and the shouting would make even the bravest man hesitate over going in the room that they are in while in a heated debate. I honestly think that they could some times kill each other, but at the end of the day they always sort out their differences and are best friends again before the argument has even ended.

I guess it goes to show that even though family may argue or may have a difference of opinion they can still love each other through thick and thin and no matter what.

I love you Mom and Natalie, please don't kill me for writing this.

A poem to remember

Remember remember

Remember the day that you was born when your mother kept you safe and warm.

Remember when you took your first step and learned how to walk or when you said your first word and began to talk.

Remember growing up when the world was so big or when you loved your favorite band and went to their gig.

Remember Seeing the war on TV and thinking about just how much better the world could be.

Remember the people who may come and go, remember them don't forget the people you know.

Remember all these things that I have written and said and Remember the memories locked away in your head.

I just felt like writing a poem, I hope you all enjoy.

Always scary when it happens

Today was kind of a scary day, I was sat at home and just looking through my stuff on my computer, I love to look at storms and tornadoes, earth quakes and stuff like that. I know it sounds gloomy but I just find it interesting. I had my computer plugged in because the battery is so old that if I was to unplug it the battery would last around 5 minutes and then die.

So I am on my computer and I just move in my seat and I notice the screen goes dark like when the power cord is disconnected I move again and the screen lights up, I don't think much about it and I carry on looking through stuff.

My mom asks me to get her a drink from the kitchen and when I get back I sit down and put the laptop on my knee. I notice that the screen has gone darker again. I try moving and for a second the screen goes back to light. I sit for a moment and the screen goes back to it's darker shade. My charger is having problems, I try moving the wire around the charger symbol flickers between charge and battery and then goes to the battery symbol.

My charger has died, This is not good, my computer is my main form of contact with my Jenn and my form of playing games while my mother watches TV. I wriggle the wire every which way but there is nothing. I begin to panic.

I remember that when I bought my Charger it came with a extra connector, but I got my charger about a year and a half ago and if it was anywhere it would be in the ruins that was my cupboard.
I needed to act fast, I had at most just 5 minutes.

I ran upstairs and looked through all my cupboard but couldn't find the piece I needed.
I came back down and sent Jenn a message telling her that my Charger was broken, I decided I would look in my clothing cupboard. I ran upstairs and Looked and sure enough there was the piece, I ran down stairs and after putting it on the wrong way at first and panicking I put it on the right way and my laptop was saved with only 7% power left in the battery.

so the disaster was averted.

More pictures from my time with Jenn.

Now that I am almost 100% recovered from Jet lag and I have my first day off from work since they day I got back I have time to reflect on my Time with My Jenn.
and I have even more pictures to show you all.
So here goes.

it all starts at the Train station, waiting for the train.

getting to the airport.

I love walking to the terminal through the hall with the blue lights

It's kind of worrying when you see the pilot stick his head out the window to ask for directions

The flight over the Atlantic.

When I got to the airport I didn't take many pictures. but over the course of the two and a half weeks I was there I must have taken over 1000 pictures.

We did so many things and had so much fun and I remember saying to Jenn that I had the happiest days of my life and Jenn said to me "so far" and she is right. I know that when I move out to be with Jenn that we will be so very happy.

Here are some more pictures.

My Jenn.

Say hi to the cast of hello Dolly, me and Jenn went to see the musical.

My chef suit

And Me and my Jenn.

I hope you all enjoy the pictures

Silly talk

My niece and me were talking today about technology and how far it has advanced in the last ten years. she is only 20 and doesn't remember most of the stuff from the 80s but when I tell her that the best graphics on a game was a mach stick man she looks at me with disbelief. I tell her about how mobile phones were big as a house brick with a Ariel as big as the hand set. I talk about the music and how I think that that is one of the things that has gotten worse.

I also said that I bet in the future people will be able to have a micro chip put in their heads and kids wont go to school any more they will just sit down on a chair while mummy puts a Ethernet cable in to the back of their heads and downloads the information to the chip in their heads.
you'll be able to buy different micro chips, 5 gigs and implantation for only £ 500, you wont learn a trade you will just download it straight to your head from a massive data base that looks like Itunes store. you will be able to log in to face book 2030 straight from your head and chat and send messages. you will be able to get the family plan, 4 members of the family for only £1500 and have free micro communication for the first year free.

Oh boy do I have strange ideas some times.

Well Just thought I would share that with you all.
