Great news!!

Hey every one who reads my blog. I have great news.
I have just booked my ticket to go see my beautiful Jenn.

I have worked very hard for this and now my hard work has paid off.
so now all I have to do is wait until July, I know that may sound a long way off but the time will fly, I will be working a lot to save some spending money and that will make the time go faster.

it's kind of strange but some how it just doesn't seem real until I press that submit button.
Jenn seems so far away, but now I know that time is ticking and I am moving forward to the time that I get on the plane and get to be with my Jenn again.

been with her is the happiest time of my life and I can't wait. things are now in motion and it wont be long until I am on my way.
I love you Jenn

2012 movie review

First let me just say about the whole 2012 thing I wrote a blog about this topic you can read it right here!

Ok on with the review

2012 is a movie with some of the best special effects I have ever seen
but the plot is very basic, man with a plan vs the world and it's doom.
the movie takes a while to get going but once it does, it's a none stop roller coaster ride of doom and gloom and there is a scene involving yellow stone which is one of the most awesome eruption's I have ever seen in a movie.

what amazed me about this movie more than anything is the pure luck of some of the characters in the film who seem to avoid certain death in the most impossible ways you can imagine. and a large portion of the movie is the survivors on board a plane or a boat talking about the people who are dying and it does get a bit predictable

I must say that 2012 is one of the best disaster movies in a long time. You actually see most of the planet get written off big style. rather than it been saved. and you don't know just who is going to survive

I give 2012.. 7 out of 10

Crazy squirrel

I love squirrels, I think they are so cute and have such funny personality's, I could watch them all day, I walk through a park every day that I work and I saw a squirrel amongst some flowers looking frantically for something.

I walked slowly over and got out my camera, the squirrel saw me and came jumping over and got about 5 yards away from me. I took the first picture, He froze for a second and then started to run around me jumping and sniffing at me. I almost got the impression that he was wanting to play.
After this picture he came up even closer and stood so still looking at me so I took a second picture.

after this one I needed a better shot, I stood up slowly, but he took off running straight for the nearest tree which was about 30 yards away. he slowed down as he got closer to the tree and then......

The poor little thing collapsed exhausted from running right next to the tree. I thought best not to go after him, he has had a busy day.

No squirrels were harmed in the making of this post.

thanks for reading!

small cat diary

What's wrong with Polly?

Polly has been acting very strange over the past few weeks, I have no idea what she is up to but I have a feeling there is mischief behind it somewhere.

it all started about Thursday night. I went to bed and said goodnight too all the cats, and I settled down in bed and I could feel my eyes getting heavy, all of a sudden I heard a very quiet but distinctive meow! and then getting louder meow and every couple of seconds another MEOW!!!!.
and it carried on and on, after twenty minutes of none stop MEOW MEOW I got up and went to my bedroom door and opened it, at this point Polly turned and ran for it. she disappeared down the stairs I could hear the pitter patter of her paws running through the house. I shut my door and went back to bed.

Not ten minutes had passed and again I heard the dreaded meow again, Meow Meow MEOW!!!!
I jumped out of my bed and ran to the bedroom door and pulled it open to see Polly turn and run again with her tail in the air, I followed her down stairs and watched her run in to the living room and out of view.

this has happened over the last few night's. Not every night but at least three out of seven nights, what could she possibly be up to? any suggestions?

A tangle

I think that one of the things that gets on my nerves is when I get a tangle in the wires that I use, mainly for my computer. I always leave them as straight as possible. When I come to take my computer down stairs is when the trouble begins, I can almost see them conspiring against me and saying to each other "Right lets tangle now". and by the time I get down stairs the wires are in such a tangle that it takes me ten minutes just to untangle them.

They seem to have almost deliberately tied them selves in a huge knot. I swear there is no way that they could have got so tangled all by them selves but some how they do.
even at work the same thing seems to happen or my I pod head phones get tangled together and some how end up in a knot at the end with the ear pieces.

if some one was to tangle them on purpose that wouldn't bother me its the fact that there is no one there and I don't do it either but they still get in a tangle, I just don't understand it.

oh well that's my moan for today lol

Bad moon

Last night I got the movie New moon the twilight saga, this is the second in the story the story that follows Edward the vampire and his girlfriend.

I watched the first movie and I wouldn't say it was anything special, to me a vampire should be a soulless creature that will tear the throat of the victim out and leave them for dead and not think twice about it. not run around jumping from tree to tree never sleeping and looking like they suffer from anemia, while falling in love with a human, I suppose that it is romantic but love and vampires just are not a good mix. its like mixing cheese with gravy, it just doesn't work, but in the first movie they manage to get it to work pretty well, Ill admit that much.

I would give the first movie a 5 out of 10.

Now the second one that I just watched last night... was just plain awful, the story doesn't go anywhere the acting could have been so much better and for the near two hours that the move was on was the slowest 2 hours of my life, nothing happened. The scenery was beautifully shot and the special effects were great when you saw them but I can honestly say that it was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I can understand that it s a love story, but even that element of the movie is all but dead. I will never get those two hours of my life back.

I give twilight new moon a 2 out of 10.
the two points are for the special effects, and the nice car near the end that they drive to rescue Edward from killing himself because he is in such a bad movie. lol

Next week it's all go

I am so looking forward to next week , I will be booking the ticket to go see Jenn, We had originally planned for the 11Th of June but I couldn't get the time off from work because there was too many people off at that time, so I have rescheduled for the 11Th of July , I have almost saved enough for the ticket and on payday I will have got enough. I am so excited.

The tickets are slightly more expensive than usual in July but apparently that's because it is the time of year when most people go on holiday, so the airlines put their prices up, talk about a way to rob people huh?

But the price doesn't matter to me, what does matter is been with my Jenn, I don't care how much it costs. you can't put a price on love and happiness.

I miss so many things about not been with my Jenn when I am in England, I miss the feeling of constant happiness and contentment, I miss walking with her and telling her I love her, I miss going to different and new places.

I just can't wait till I can be back with my Jenn again soon, I will keep you all posted on my progress.

Running up that hill

No this is not the Kate bush song but a post about my Jogging,
Seems that ever since i got back from Seeing Jenn, that the hill I could Jog up before has become quite a struggle. I didn't really Jog much while I was in the states, but I kept thinking it's only two weeks, I will be able to get straight back in to it.

However when I got back I knew I would struggle at first but I didn't know I would struggle so much. I jog back from my place of work and it's roughly two miles and about 70% of it is up hill.

The last quarter of a mile is up a very steep hill, I call the big hill and it is the last big push before I get to my house.
Now before I went to see Jenn I could jog at a good pace up this hill, but now I am back it really feels like the hill has got steeper and longer. but I will not stop, I will not let it beat me. I will not be defeated by the big hill.

No God would want that!!

I was just watching the news and there has been yet another suicide bombing,
in Iraq somewhere , I can't believe these people, I think they are pure evil, they say they do this in the name of god or a holy jihad.
God is a life loving merciful god not a person who would want man to turn against man.

These people who do this in the name of god can not be of god, where in the bible did it ever say that you should wage war on your fellow man? doesn't it say in every language thou shall not kill? isn't that one of the ten commandments.

this blog is not ment to offend any body but if you kill in the name of god by running in as bigger crowd as you can find and killing them with a bomb then I am sorry but you are not of god but the devil only he would find joy and praise in such a thing.

God loves life

theory on thought

I know this may sound odd but I have a theory on thought or how we develop thought.
Now im not saying this is true but its one of those could it be possible kind of thoughts.

Any way from the second we are born we start to learn, we learn how to see how to breath how to crawl stand walk talk and interact with things and people and that's how it works all way through life.

now my idea is what if we are not learning but unlocking these things. What if they are already there but we just can't remember them until we are confronted with the situation that unlocks these thoughts.

for example when we are born we already know some things like how to breath and how to feed almost like they we are pre programed, so what if everything els we ever learn is already pre programed in our heads?

Just a idea I had.

First few days

Well it has been my first few days back in England now and I am getting back in to the swing of things, I still feel sad because I am without my beautiful Jennifer and I miss her so bad
I think about all the fun times we had and how perfect it all was. I also remember my promise that I will work as hard as I can to get back there with her as soon as I can and it is that promise and my love for her that gives me the motivation to pick my self up and do all that I need to do to get back to Jennifer.

I went back to work the day after I got back to England, I had major jet lag and I did feel a little sick but the way I see it is, I can either sit at home and feel sick or I can go and work and keep my mind occupied and get paid for it.

I have my eye firm on the date that I have set for going to see my Jenn again 11Th of June and I am looking forward to booking the ticket some time next week. I can hardly wait, when I book that ticket everything seems real, things seem easier and I know that seeing my beautiful Jenn again is that bit closer

It's more personal

Me and Jenn love going places together, we always cram as much in to each one of my visits as we can. when I was there this time Jenn asked me if I liked Asian food so I said Yeah sure and she took me to a kani house, a Chinese food place that makes possibly the best egg fried rice I have ever tasted in my life.

They also did something called hibachi which was the way the prepare the food.
in the hibachi hey make the food right in front of you on a giant hot plate, they toss the food around the hot plate, they cut and chop the food they make fun shapes with the food, it really is amazing to watch.

the chiefs are so pleasant too they talk and have fun with the people they cook for and also cook the food the way you like it.

Me and Jenn was sat watching the chief do his cooking and Jenn said that she would liked it so much there because she liked how the meal was made right in front of you and you could watch and talk to the chief. she said
"It's more personal"

I had to agree with her, we went there about 4 times in my stay and I loved it every time I would highly recommend going there and having your food maid hibachi style.
