I am baptised

I have now been baptised in to the world of Mormon and they told me I should write about it while the event is fresh in my mind so here is what happened.

Me and mom set off for the church at about 5:30 pm and I decided that I would walk and mom wanted to walk and so mom walked with me.

We got to church at about 6:35 pm and the other 4 people who was getting baptized was already there and ready to be dunked. I went in to the changing room and Elder Barfuss passed me my baptism jump suit. a white suit kinda like a all in one with a zip up the front.

I got in to my jump suit and headed out in to the hall where the others where waiting.Before the service began we headed in to a small room were we had our picture took, Me and mom had ours took together.



After the picture taking we talked for a few minutes and then we all headed in to the chapel where there was a lot of people sat who had come to see the baptism. some was family members while others had come to just watch.

the service began and Elder maughan gave a open speech followed by the bishop and we sang a hymn.

Before I knew it the time had come to get dunked. we all stood and headed out to the changing room. There was a door that lead through to the baptism pool,
Mom was first to be baptised I watched from the open door of the changing room and I saw the bishop place his left hand in front of mom, she held his left arm. The Bishop held his right hand in the air and said a small speech which I can't really remember.

Mom put her hand over her noes and back she went in to the water bishops right hand now under her back and he pulled her back up out o the water. Mom cried a little and up the stairs to the changing room she went.

Now it was my turn Elder Maughan Was the person who was baptising me

I walked down the stairs and felt the water around my waist I Look and see a room full of people watching me. Elder maughan followed me in to the pool he placed his left arm in front of me and I put my right arm in his hand ready to grab my nose and my left hand on his arm to steady my self he had his right arm in the air just like Bishop had.

Elder maughan Asked me "Is your name Wayne Kieth Webster"? I replied yes.
Now I cant remember exactly what he said but it goes something like this.
"Wayne Kieth Webster I baptise you in the name of the father the son and the holy ghost amen".
I said "Amen".

I feel myself falling back I put my hand over my noes I feel Elder Maughan's hand on my back.
I feel warm water surround me and cover me entirely. I then feel myself being lifted out of the water and I open my eyes and I instantly begin to feel refreshed. I feel so relaxed and Elder maughan asked me if I am ok and I reply "Yes I am Great.

I head back to the changing room where I am greeted and congratulated by the other two who are waiting to be baptised I quickly get dried of and I head in to the hall to put my shoes on and everybody who is out there is shaking my hand and saying well done to me.

After every one is baptised we all head back in to the chapel part of the church. I sat on the front pew and there was another speech by Elder catcher and he said that faith is like being at a gym and working with the weights the more you go the better you will feel but if you should stop then you would become not quite as fit.

Then the president of the Mormon churches of England and gave a speech about how how much being baptised was a good thing and it is the closest to god that a man or woman can be on this earth.

And then Elder maughan made another speech I noticed how happy he looked. and I could feel my self smiling. in fact I was constantly smiling ever since I got dunked I some how felt so happy.

Then the Bishop said the closing prayer. after which it seemed every one wanted to congratulate me I almost felt famous we then went to another room and there was a spread of food that had been prepared for us. there was chocolate and cake and rice and banana bread.

I loved the experience of been baptised and I do feel a lot closer to god I am now Mormon and very happy

Today is a special day

Today is a special day for me.

I'm getting baptised.

I am becoming Mormon and I am so excited. My baptism takes place at 6:30 pm
I am a little nervous but only in the sense that it's something I have never done before.

I have a rough idea of what to expect and I imagine that the process will only take a hour at most.
When I think of getting baptised I get a refreshing feeling and I get the feeling that the refreshing feeling will be more refreshing once I get baptised if that makes sense.

I will stand in a small pool of water that comes up to just below my waist and Elder Maughan will say a small blessing and then under I go. I must be completely submerged for it to work or under I go again.

I have only recently come to the way of Mormon but I must admit I do find great joy in its teachings and beliefs.

Wish me look on my dunking.

Thankful Thursday

Thankful Thursday is a blog that was maid by my Beautiful Jenn
It is a chance to say what you are grateful for in life.

So here is my list of things that I am grateful for this week.

1) I am Thankful for My Jenn she is the most amazing and beautiful woman ever and I am the luckiest man alive to have her.

2) I am thankful for the technology that gives me the ability to be able to talk with my Jenn.

3 ) I am so grateful for all the people that follow my blog posts and comment on my thoughts and ideas.

4) I am grateful to be alive every day is a blessing to me.

5) I am grateful that I am going to be with my Jenn in a month from now, been with my Jenn is my heaven.

6) I am thankful for my job and that even with a recession my job is safe so far.

7) I am grateful that I have my family and friends.

8) I am thankful that I am able bodied and cam walk run and do every day activates that I may sometimes take for granted.

9) I am grateful for the great things that my Jenn sent me and I love her knitting that keeps me warm.

10) I am grateful for the world that god has given us and I enjoy it on a daily basis.

A man walks in to the doctors and says "Doctor I keep thinking I am a moth" and the doctor says "I think your in the wrong place there is a psychologist just next door" and the man says "I was on my way there but I saw your light on".



a boy and his grand dad are out doing the garden and the grand dad is getting worms out of the soil. He turns to his grand son and says " Grand son if you can get a worm back in the hole it made I will give you 5 dollars". The grand son runs in the house and appears seconds later with a tin of hair spray in his hand. He sprays the worm from top to bottom until the worm is as stiff as a bone and simply slots the worm back in the hole.
Gob smacked the grand dad hands over the 5 dollars and disappears in to the house taking the hairspray and leaving the grand son to do the garden.
Twenty minutes later the grand dad appears from the house with a exhausted look on his face.
The Grand son says " Grand dad what have you been doing for so long"?
Grand dad replies "I can't tell you grand son but your grand mother gave me ten dollars to give to you "

Not me! Monday

I have been really good this week and I am so ahead in my schedule that I have started this Not me! Monday on Saturday night. I am almost one step ahead of the game.
I haven't rushed around or cut any corners this week at all I have been so good.

It was not me that left the butter on the side and then went in the room and totally forgot that I had left it there no no no.

And I did not come back in the kitchen half a hour later to find that the cats had had their paws in it

and I did not then just put the lid back on the butter and put it in the fridge because I knew that if my mom found out I had left the butter out like that she would kill me. I hate to think what she would say if she ever finds out the cats have had there way with it. I'll just say NOT ME!

The next one is possibly the most embarrassing not me ever.

It was no way me who clogged up the toilet with toilet paper and well,, erm the thing that you usually do on a toilet no no I don't poop that big.

and It was not me that didn't try and un block the toilet because the Mormons were coming to see me and I had only minutes until they arrived.

and it was not me who stayed quiet when the Mormon went to the same toilet that I had not attempted to un block came back in to the room minutes later saying to my mom did you know your toilet is blocked and mom then asked if I knew who had done it.

I did not then sit there trying not to die of embarrassment for the rest of the hour that the Mormons were at the house.

I did not put off changing the plug on the lamp that my mother had been asking me to change for nearly 4 months just because I couldn't be bothered to change it.

I am far to mature to offer three teenagers a race because they said I was getting old and slow
and I did not come second. and I am not old ha ha.

and I did not sell a console for £14.98 instead of £114.98 by mistake I am far to careful and way to professional to make any mistakes, erm yeah right lol

A Change to Tribute Tuesday

It has been brought to my attention that Tribute Tuesday has already been thought of by another blogger. Well, they call it Tuesday's Tribute, actually. Anyway, they have asked me to change mine so that it doesn't seem like I am trying to take their Idea.

I have agreed to this because they did have the idea about ten days before me, even though I was completely unaware of this. So I have agreed to move Tribute Tuesday to a different day and I have changed the name so there is no similarity in appearance.

It will now take place on on the second Thursday of every month, and shall be called Honor Them Thursday.

Here are a couple guidelines to go by:

Why Do they?

Well boys and girls its that time of the week when I have questions again.
Questions that I'm not sure can even be answered but I will write them and post them anyway,seems that its becoming a bit of a tradition. I hope you don't all think I'm not very smart lol.


1) Why in all the rocky films does Balboa get knocked down multiple times in every round but only ever knock down his opponent once ?

2) What ball can you play with but never bounce?

3) If there is s civil war then whats so civil about it?

4) Why does a brown cow give white milk if it only eats green grass?
I know it's in a movie but I wonna know

5) Why do weather men try and predict the weather a week in advance if they can't get the next few hours right?

7) Why are leaders who are so ready to start wars never willing to take part in them?

8) How do they always save the planet in movies. wouldn't it be interesting to see a movie where the planet gets stuffed?


9) Why do they call the NFL Football If they mainly hold the ball with their hands?

10) Why not make it (911) for the police (912) for the fire brigade and (913) for the ambulance it would free up the phone lines and make it a lot faster, rather than having to go through the middle man who says, which service do you require which takes about ten seconds to say and connect. wouldn't it be better?

I first started talking to Morgan shortly after I started going out with My Jenn.
We got along straight away and every day since

Morgan is the kind of person who always has time to talk to me and has such a great personality and has helped me and jenn so much.

It was Morgan who designed the Tribute Tuesday logo and is at present helping me by working on the logo for Tribute Tuesdays Replacement.

Morgan and Jennifer have been the best of Friends for so many years and when ever they are talking I can tell because Jenn is always laughing at the funny things Morgan will tell her.

Morgan is one of those people that makes the world a better place to live in

I also wanted to use this tribute to thank Morgan for always believing in me and Jenn and also for always been there for us both.

Morgan you are a truly great friend and I am honored to know you.

Well it has been one long week and in the week so many things have happened or should I say Not happened.
For examplele.

I did not turn almost instantly in to a old man this week when it was my 30th birthday. I don't get old I'm just like peter pan I'm gonna stay young forever and ever and ever.

and I did not oversleep Sunday morning and miss church after saying I would be there I would never do that. I am just waiting for the bolt of lightning to hit me.


I did not take this picture of me so I can remember how I looked on my 30th birthday, I mean I will always look this young right?



I did not get in to a argument with mom over a mp3 player this week, we are both to mature to do things like that and I am always right. well most of the time

and there is no way I would ever walk around at work with a sticker on my back saying " I am 30 happy birthday to me I don't need that much attention on my 30th birthday, oh did i mention I am 30 now?

Happy Birthday To Me

Today is my birthday: The 15th of February, 1979.

I am 30 years old and I feel old, well oldER.

I was thinking all day it kinda feels like I'm on the edge of a threshold.

While I'm sure that, like every other age I have been, 30 will have its blessings.

I can't help thinking I'm at a peak in some ways

For example, my hair will start going grey soon. I have already found the odd grey strand in there and I'm not plucking them because, as the old saying goes, if you pluck one six come to its funeral.

At 30, it's kinda like this might be the best I will ever look. Who knows? Or it could go the other way and I could be one of the fortunate few who improve with age.

30 is in my mind a milestone of life, and a big one at that.

But there are good things about being 30. I have more experience and I am wiser and I think that 30 is a very distinguishing age-- a defining year-- and just like every year of my life, I will strive to make it a great year.

So happy birthday to me!

Superman v's Spiderman

One of my not me Mondays contained a sentence about me having a argument with a kid about Superman been better than Spiderman.

It seems this sentence was the center of interest to a lot of people and the comments seemed to be centered around that topic

I thought I would defend my choice bu giving a list of just why superman is better than Spiderman.

So here is the list and reasons why Superman rules over the Spider.

1) Spiderman is limited by gravity Superman is not.

2) Spiderman has limits to his speed around 80 mph in full swing, Superman's top speed is yet unknown.

3)Spiderman can be hurt in many ways. There is only one way to hurt superman.

4) spiderman struggles to pick up anything heavier than 7 or 8 tons. Superman has no limitations on his strength.

Did you know that the difference between Superman and all other super heroes is that Superman Is the only one who is a alien Pretending to be human.

So for the reasons above Superman kicks ass compared to spiderman.

Yes or no?

To all my readers

My dear readers I have come up with a idea concerning Tribute Tuesday.

Now I realize that there are only so many people and things any one can pay tribute to so I have come up with the idea that I am about to propose.

The idea is to move tribute Tuesday to once a month which will give more time for people to think of a tribute and make the Tribute Tuesday last a lot longer.

Now in it's place is a concept idea that I am working on that is still in the early stages and I hope to launch in roughly a month from now and I cant really go in to detail about it but i promise it will be great fun and have a mr linky
and will prob take place on a Wednesday.

So my question is when I launch the new Idea should I move tribute Tuesday to once a month
Yes or no?

I have a cold

Yes boys and girls I have a cold and I thought I would list the things I have noticed about having a cold
so here goes.

1) Colds are something there is no cure for.

2) your noes always blocks up when you get in to bed.

3) Its always the nostril that is closest to the bed that starts to run.

4) everybody thinks they have it worse than you.

5) why is it when you ask someone how there getting on with there cold they always sniffle before they answer?.

6) why does that piece of tissue always fall apart in your pocket?

Well there is just a few things about colds.

Isn't it amazing that one of the smallest parts of your body can cause so much mayhem.

This week my tribute is to one of my personal heroes

The great Joe Montana
I started watching NFL when I was about five years old.
and I remember seeing the great Montana.
He was and still is one of the greatest qb's to ever play the game and I tried base my self on him when I joined a local team.

Every week I would sit down stairs with my step father and wait to see if the 49ers were on.
I think that one night I actually cried because they weren't on tv and I was saying where's my Joe, I want to see Joe.

as the years went by and I grew up I learnt more and more about the NFL and every game Joe was on I would say he's my hero and I sill say to this day he is my hero.

I think every boy needs a hero and The great Joe Montana is one of mine.

So Joe if you ever read this I hope you like your tribute.

Welcome to my not me Monday for this week.
Well my life is simple at best and when something like snow comes along well that kinda makes it all comlpicated.


I did not nearly fall on my ass on a average of 5 times a day for about 4 days.

And I did not get in to a snow ball fight with three 8 year olds that would just be immature and I can rise above stuff like that.

There is no way I would never throw the first snowball.

I would never say there is no dirty laundry in my room when my mother asked and I knew full well there were socks in there from last week.

when a customer asked how much we were selling popcorn for, I did not tell them each bag was 50 pounds or they can get 2 for 2 pounds just so they would buy 2 and I would hit my sales target.


I also did not get pinned to the sofa by all five cats. and couldn't be bothered to move so just let them lay on me.

I did not get a stone in my shoe and take my shoe off then lose balance and step straight in the snow with my nice clean dry sock. no no no no.

And I did not make a squelching sound all the way to work that could be heard at least 15 yards away and even mad a old man laugh at me.

oh yeah and there is no way I nearly forgot to write the not me Monday that would just be naughty.


Well that's my not me Monday for this week.

Ok Now I have done this for a few weeks now and I just thought I would carry it on.

Basically its some crazy thoughts I get, You know the kind of thoughts you get when you are just sat letting your mind wonder. I decided I would try to think of ten every week so I can write them down so here goes.


1) If they say don't run when there is a fire then why do they have the man running on the exit sign?


2) Why do the try to predict the end of the world? If there right who's gonna be around to care?

3) If they escaped from the prison in the first season then why make a prison break season 2?

4) Why are they so concerned with other planets when ours is the one most in need?

5) If there are ten cats in a boat and one jumps out how many are there?

6) why do they make 8 hot dogs in a pack but 12 hot dog buns?

7) how can they call Kurt Warner's last pass a fumble? his arm was in forward motion.

8) If a fly didn't have wings would they call it a walk?

9) If cigarettes kill so many people then why are they still able to sell them?. cigarettes are now responsible for more deaths than any war.

10) Why do they call it mankind if there are women too?

TRIBUTE TUESDAY

Welcome to TRIBUTE TUESDAY a chance to let that someone who has made a difference in your life feel special by paying them tribute.


This week My tribute goes to Melissa the laundry cat.


Yes boys and girls who read my blog this is the cat that has taken to running around the house with my underwear firmly grasped in her mouth. Melissa is about three years old now and has to be the most verbal communicator of all the cats that dwell in my house.

She seems to have taken it upon her self to make life as difficult as possible for me when it comes to being discrete about my underwear.

she will bring down my socks, my tops, even my underwear and we all know when she is about to appear with another pair of my underwear, she starts to make a howling noise it almost sounds like shes catawowing. me and my mom will hear a mmmmeeeeeoooooooowowowowowmeow.

Next thing we know she will come running down the stairs with a pair of my socks or underwear firmly gripped in her mouth and to make it worse she won't bring them to me ooohhh no she takes it to my mother or even worse she will take the clothing and place it at the feet of any guests that we have.

Well Melissa This tribute is for you.
You always make me laugh and you have a special place in my heart
